Delete your Fitmaxxing account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Fitmaxxing account and the data associated with it. Fitmaxxing is developed by edealabs. If you no longer wish to use the App, you can ask us to permanently delete your account at any time.

How to request account deletion

  1. From the email address you used to sign in to Fitmaxxing, send an email to support.fitmaxxing@edealabs.com with the subject line “Delete my account”.
  2. Include the email address (or Google account) associated with your Fitmaxxing login so we can locate and verify your account.
  3. We will verify the request comes from the account owner, delete your account, and email you a confirmation once it is complete — typically within 30 days of the request.

Sending the request from your account email is the fastest way for us to verify ownership. If you signed up with Google Sign-In, please send it from that same Google email address.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the personal data we hold about you, including:

  • Your account and profile — email, display name, avatar, date of birth, gender, height, weight and body type.
  • Your fitness data — workout plans and logs, exercise and calorie records, hydration logs, and body measurements.
  • Your nutrition data — logged meals, and barcode and meal-photo scans.
  • Your progress photos and any other images you uploaded.
  • Your gamification and buddy data — streaks, badges, levels, buddy state and cosmetics.
  • Community activity tied to your account, such as challenge participation and leaderboard entries.

What data is kept, and for how long

Once deletion is complete, your account data is removed from our live systems. A limited amount of information may be retained where the law requires it or for legitimate business needs, for example:

  • Billing and transaction records related to subscriptions, retained as required by tax and accounting law (typically up to 7 years). Payments are processed by the app store and are not stored by us.
  • Records needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud and abuse, kept only for as long as necessary.
  • Routine encrypted backups, from which your data is purged on our normal backup rotation (within 30 days).

Retained records are not used to re-create your profile and are deleted when their retention period ends.
